The Culture we want to Chase

"A Redneck Poem"

Susie Lee fell in love.
She planned to marry Joe.
She was so happy' bout it all,
she told her Pappy so.
Pappy told her, "Susie Gal,
you'll have to find another.
I'd just as soon yo' maw don't know,
but Joe is yo' half-brother."
So Susie forgot about her Joe
and planned to marry Will.
But, after telling Pappy this,
he said, "There's trouble still.
You can't marry Will, my gal,
and please don't tell yo' mother,
cause Will and Joe and several mo'
I know is yo' half-brother."
But Mama knew and said "Honey Child,
Do what makes yo' happy.
Marry Will or marry Joe,
you ain't no kin to Pappy!"

May be it is just a hilarious Joke but stories like Redneck is true at the same time.
I think the poem above doesn't need explanation and proof. we all are well aware of the truth.
the point I want to raise is that we all want to chase this culture, fallow their type of lifestyle, Education & living hood. we should think atleast once about this.

Allama Iqbal narrates the summary of the western culture.

Fasad-e-Qalb-o-Nazar Hai Farang Ki Tehzeeb
Ke Rooh Iss Madniyat Ki Reh Saki Na Ufeef

Rahe Na Rooh Mein Pakeezgi To Hai Na-Paid
Zameer-e-Pak-o-Khayal-e-Buland-o-Zauq-e-Lateef.

The Western culture depraves both heart and vision,

Because the soul of that culture is no longer chaste.

With a corrupted soul one cannot expect  To have a clean conscience, high thinking and refined tastes.
